Be-Spoked

I run and with every race I have entered I have received a FREE T-Shirt in my Goodie Bag! I measure myself against myself each time I run thanks to champoin chip. The entry fees cost a hell of a lot less than cycling, you have mashalls, traffic cops etc, you get coke at every water point, lucky draw and a lekker cold coke at the end of the race & your medal. So how do they give you so much for so little?? Some thing here doesnt work out? I mean....today at the finish there wasn't even a cold Coke?? That's if you could find the finish?

It's become a fashion show at these races, no longer about the sport or cycling. It's much cheaper and far more fun to ride the Audax events, starting from 100km, 200km and 300km and the long one 400km and not as crowded at all. It a real cyclists race not the over crowded fashion shows!! Hahahaha

Well.....News Flash!! They didnt put their name too it.....They stated here a few time this is now their OWN event! Last year they ran out of medals...now the "mixadrink".... next year they have run out of cyclists... I'm never doing another ASG race. The fees go up and you just get less and less. Look at the Goodie Bag?? At least the 94.7 you get something worth the money, Enough water, coke, messages, lekker Goodie Bag and a can of Coke & Energade at the end!!

We cycle because we enjoy the sport...the outdoors and the fresh air....w have fallen prey and victims because we we buy expensive bicycles and we're tooo easy to open our wallets and pay for sub standard services, imagine they serviced your car in the same manner?
