That’s strange that I completely checked wrong. The routes that I downloaded showed that it’s more that 20km away? thx for the assistance. I probably looked wrong.

Hi everyone, I’m newish to cycling and I'm doing the 76km 99er, but I’m looking for some clarity on the first cut-off. The official event info lists the 76km start at 07:20, which gives riders 75 minutes to reach the Fruit Sellers cut-off (R312/R304 intersection) by 08:35. However, I received an email saying my start time is 07:46. This means I only have 49 minutes to cover that same distance (approx. 26km). Does anyone know if the 08:35 cut-off is a hard clock for the whole field, or is it adjusted for the later start times? If it is a hard 08:35 cut-off, my math says I’d need to average about 32km/h right from the start line. Unless my calculations are completely off and I'm accidentally entering a high-speed chase instead of a cycle tour! lol. Thanks for the help!

Hi everyone, I typically ride mountain bikes but am considering transitioning to a road bike. I’m leaning towards a gravel bike for its comfort compared to a traditional road bike. I came across the Avalanche ROAM gravel bike but couldn’t find any reviews on it. Could anyone advise if it’s a good purchase or not? Thank you.

hey, just wanted every ones opinion..Do you think it would be worth while to invest in a polar rc300 gps watch or should i just get a cycling computer instead.Could the watch replace a cycling computer? thx
