One of the bikes I use to drool over for hours as a kid was the original
Cannondale Black Lightning.
All the gold detail on the black frame was soooooo sexy
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA you guys ROCK!!!
Everybody hates Armstrong and criticise him and here we are, 80 PAGES of still the most influencial rider EVER (doped or clean)
AND HE DOESN"T EVEN RIDE ANYMORE!!!!!!!!
Absolutely Briliant
that chain ring on the Master actually looks quite gooood!
I buy my decals from this guy im Australia, he makes some high quality stuff:
thanx
I can't believe it's another year since I last visited this thread.
How big of a mission is it to have a fork re-cromed?
My Pinarello Pista is taking a hammering riding next to the beach
And what do I do regarding the Columbus decals on the sides of the fork?
Just sold my Advance 1 this week really awesome looking frameset.
Am I wrong in saying that the new Advance now has an Alu steerer tube? Think they want to create a bit bigger gap between the 2 frames
Had to take the car in today. Sitting in the howling wind and rain just after 7, Paarden island, thinking no-one will ride in today...so, past comes a guy on red and black Spez, blue and yellow? shorts...respect dude.
I just wanted to ask about your ride...
As consolation, even the harbour is shut down
Post it in the classifieds section, it will sure to be seen there. Not on this thread.
A mate of mine wants to sell his (and buy a MTB) for R5000 for anyone interested. Size Large
Let me know if you're placing a CT order. I'm considering wheels and bar tape.
Does anyone know if the 10% discount deal stil valid
From all my bikes, incl. high spec'ed race mechines and more, I loved my Merida 903 aka training rig the most
It takes more convinsing to change from comuting by motorcycle to biking than what I thought
While on Styleman, take off that thingymebob on your seatpost.
What, you hang your groceries on it, a connection for a trailler, or is it a light fitting. Don't tell me you ride with lights
From Styleman Handbook:" You shall not use lights. Ever"
Just went through a similar thing with a guy at work. Ended up with a Merida Full Ultegra almost just about brand new for R7000 - hub deal.
He learn the ropes on it, pretty decent looks and well speced bike for R7k.
If he likes us, he can sell in a year's time and get a carbon beast without losing much
Why spend R20k if you don't even know what a BB is???
From Styleman handbook:"Crankarm shall be horisontal in all photos"
Its missing one or two 'normal' parts...
Oeps didn't see - no pedals is unforgivable LOL
For the weight crazies on this forum,
BH Ultralight Road Bike comes in at 4.84 kgs.
WOW 4.84kg's with what seems like "normal" parts, and even frame decals
I might start commuting from Big Bay to harbour one of these days, we'll see
Did you seriously pay R250 for those cranks?
Yip ok it was 'bout 2years ago (and maybe it was R270). pricing on ebay was then R800min.
Ride with proper road pedals and shoes, you'll need it to brake more efficiently in traffic
I've done peak hour traffic with her, but I would not want to do it every day.
maybe consider a front brake. I know purist don't do brakes, but for commuting maybe consider it
I was thinking the same thing..
when last did you ride Fixed around sharp bends?
That's my ride yes
That's bad luck, I thought they sold 'em too cheap
For cranksets, try Dave Wiseman in Dbn.
165mm Pista craks for something like R250
Don't think you'll beat that pricing
Don't fit 170+mm cranks, you'll end up on the deck
...but as far as sales, go, there are always plenty on the hub and has been for years, because there are so many on the roads
IMPEY YOU BISCUIT!!!
