Why is it important to use very low pressure?

I also keep it in side pocket of cargo pants, because I use mytracks or endomondo. Ziploc if it looks like rain. From the posts here, I guess I will probably regret that at some point due to a fall, but it has saved me last week when I could not fix flattie

Hi I have recently bought a Merida big nine 500 29er. I really like the bike and it feels good. I had some lower back pain initially, but it seems better now (I have had it for two weeks but have done quite a bit of riding). I read up quite a bit on the sizing issue, mostly in the forums here, and I am a bit concerned that perhaps the XL size that was sold to me was too big? I understand that there are a lot of factors to take into account, and length is definitely not the only thing, but having said that, I am 184 cm. According to the Merida sizing chart XL for that bicycle is only from 188, and I am far from that. In other topics it has been said that a size too small isn't such a big deal, but a size too big is a no-go. The sizing was done using a fancy system with lasers and such at the cycle labs megastore in Fourways, and the guy was pretty convinced that an XL was the way to go, so I trusted him with that. Any opinions or pointers?

Hi, I would appreciate any advice ... there are a couple of specials at cyclelab that meet my requirements Scott Aspect 910 R9999 Merida big 9 500 R11500 Trek x-caliber 9 R12000 The Trek has rockshox fork xc32 and the others have xc30. I don't know enough about the rest of the bikes to make a good call, but they seem pretty much they same to me. Thanks in advance for any advice...
