Ja, I hear you……….but if only have this much money and i can't find out everything online but online shops cans supply at a price i like, then why not? Anyone else bought the wrong stuff and can't make it work? Surely I'm not the only one, or maybe the only one honest enough to admit it in public. Some of us need a push in the right direction

Ok, so not all of us can choose the right parts online, or build our own bikes like you pros. Some of us need the advice and so on. I'm feeling like I should be getting help, and don't mind paying for it, but LBS have overheads that I shouldn't have to pay for. That's my angle! I need good help and a fair price, Online don't give it, they like moving numbers, LBS have stock to look at and have kiff advice, but charge a higher price for the same item I can buy at 35% less online? Who wouldn't want to combine those? It's my first post and also first time signing in because I'm a newbie.

Here's a new thought, what if IBS (Independent Bike Shops) supported the Online thing? What I mean is, Online shops have good prices, but not any good advise or a cool place to hangout. IBSs generally don't have better pricing, but the people are cool and they give good advice as long as you shop there! RIGHT?! So what if a store opened up to us Hubbers and gave us better pricing as a group because we are hubbers, we ordered bits from them, and they could give us a discount for the volume we would bring but we could also get the advice then? Would this work I wonder?
