  1. It's scary stuff. Some of the smaller brands seem to work so much harder at their general service delivery and product image - they really deserve to survive. Didn't know that the smaller ones source frames from the likes of Merida and Giant?
  2. def teams
  3. I'm thinking about some of the popular SA brands; I really hope the rumour is just that.
  4. yeah thats the one
  5. OK, here goes... Luke Watson
  6. hey dries! i know! i seel them in the shop. that price is about R1700 more than last year!still' date=' i find you get more bang for your buck with the silverback in terms of spec if you do a straight price comparison with many other brands.[/quote'] Hi Roller, I absolutely agree - I'm on a 2007 nabraska myself after shopping around for other brands - just did a bit of upgrading along the way... Cheers
  7. Hi HR - go and check the latest prices on bikes - nabraska is around R9500.00 (now specced with tora) - its crazy!
  8. I would save up and spend at least R10 on a new mtb, depends what you want to do. If for racing, my honest opinion is that you will be better of bying a good 2nd hand bike for cheaper or same price, but with much better component spec/frame etc. Just check the for sale items here, there are much better 2nd hand buy's. The prices on new bikes have gone up with at least 30 % in the last few months, so you would be better of looking for a 2nd hand buy. At the end of the day, it all depends how much you ride, what you are going to use it for etc. Hope I didn't confuse you!
