To give my 5c worth. Bought 2 Scott 910's about a month ago for my sons. Had lockout problem on the one. Scott fixed it within minutes - both the kids love their bikes. I think it has a lot to do with where you buy your bike.

Ok the verdict is that Scott has won. The boys will be getting their Scott Scale 910's as soon as they are not late in the mornings. Have been ordered and is awaiting them. The youngest are doing the dishes and the oldest one is washing my car. Hope they will enjoy their new bikes.

Don't worry about the gap jumps, there will be chicken runs

They will truely forget that - he and his brother are doing 2 races this weekend!!!!

Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a carbon hardtail for my son (16 years). Would like to spent not more than 40 K. He is looking at a Scott, but I heard mixed feelings about the after service especially around cracked frames etc. Any advise would help as I do not know much about bikes except for their prices. He is currently riding a Giant XTC. Regards,
