Yeah, I saw thise too. Had the unit for 5 months without an issue. The left drive side will never come off if installed correctly. I think they were more talking about the pre-load tensioner coming loose and falling out. It is a bit of a strange / over complicated system, but I don't see how it can come loose if installed properly. Basically I'm very happy with my unit

I did end up buying one from magene direct. Then use arame global shopper to get it to SA. All in it was under 10k with the chainrings as well. We are getting ripped off here in SA sorry to say 😞

I see AGS has a shipping address in China ( where the pm is sold ) so I take it that would be cheapest...and then straight to the depo in jhb?

I was just wondering if anybody has bought successfully off AliExpress? I was looking at this power meter ( great reviews from GPLama ) but I'm just nervous to pull the trigger. Does anybody do power meter rentals in the ramdburg area? I can't afford to buy one but just need to rent/borrow one to do some dual recordings to verify my Kickr and numbers on Zwift. Any ideas?
