The Emperors long MTB event was marketed and sold as a 50 km event. The actual distance however was only 42 km. I am suspicious that ASG in the interest of financial gain intentionally misled the public; knowing full well that had it been marketed as a 42km event it may have had an adverse effect on the number of entries. The event is very well organised therefore I don't believe it was a mistake.
