I've just seen his AD on Gumtree has been removed. Also just received a thank you and apology e-mail from Gumtree.

That's hilarious, the one is being sold by Solomon Huges and the other by Pamela Huges. I bet they are also both his sons bike? unfortunately he hasn't replied to my e-mail yet, I hope he doesn't recognize the e-mail address? Has anyway received an e-mail back from him yet, I'm keen to get in touch with him, just for a laugh.

I wonder how many people he's taken for a ride?

He's picking old photo's off ebay.com, spotted both bikes on the image pages of google. unfortunately don't show on the ebay site anymore.

My post from another thread, A warning to all those looking for a new Cannondale. Although I was very keen for this one http://johannesburg....ll-Suspens.html, I just didn't trust him at all. Especially considering he wanted to courier it to me only after I paid him the first half. When I suggested I fly down to Swellendam to view the bike, he said he had another interested buyer who was currently trying to do an EFT. He said if I did mine first it would be mine :-) what ever! I told him good luck! To think I almost lost R19 000 when my wife tried to buy it as a surprise for me!

Yes, exactly what I thought and have since been told the Swellendam scam has been around for some time now. He leaves a cell number and a land line, surely the cops would do something about it, but no!
