  1. Thanks for all the advice guys. The trails in the area certainly sound amazing. Hopefully we'll be able to hire a Child trailer somewhere so we can get a taster. Don't know if we'll be managing the tougher routes though, as the 'Little Man' has got heavier towing the trailer is like having an anchor! In the UK I singlespeed with the trailer. It's getting to the stage where I might have to think about gears! I'm lucky enough to be 40 minutes from the Peak District. Used to be on my doorstep. You're right; there's so much fantastic riding in the Peaks. I'm guessing the trails in South Africa are easier on transmission. Wet gritstone mud it the Peaks plays havoc on chains and cassettes. Unfortunately last summer was so wet in the UK it was muddy most of the year! mefster_uk2009-02-26 01:41:35
  2. Coming over to the Western Cape at the weekend for a couple of weeks escape from Britain's rain and cold. My road bike's coming over for the Argus, but the week before we're staying in Wilderness ('We' being myself, my wife and 16 month old son). In the UK we love spending time on the mountain bikes in the Lake District, with Ollie in his Burley trailer. We'd love to do something similar on our holiday. Are there any good trails in the area with bike and trailer hire?
