Hi Thanks for the comment but the G1 is definitely compatible with the S725x.

I am a runner and a cyclist and have just been given a Polar S725X as a gift. Im looking to get either a Polar footpod or the Polar G1 GPS speed and distance sensor but don't know which is a better product .
