Event Name: Wild Coast Full Moon Beach Ride When: 1 December 2017 - 5 December 2017 Where: Port Edward, Kwazulu-Natal Category: MTB Transkei Mtb Adventure 1st to 5th December 2017 Come Join us for this guided & supported all inclusive Mountain Bike Tour. Day 1 Wild Coast Resort & Casino through Mkambati Nature Reserve to Msikaba. Day 2 Inland loop to Vulture Colony then to Waterfall Bluff and possibly Cathedral Rock and then a coastal ride back to Msikaba. Day 3 We head to Mtentu Lodge we take a different route through Mkambati hugging the coastline. Day 4 –The day will be spent at Mtentu (Canoeing on the Estuary and there is also a great hike up one of the gorges. The evening will bring preparations for the FULL MOON Beach Ride back to Port Edward!! This week end will be a special experience as the night beach ride on this stretch of beach should likely be a first. Event Name: Wild Coast Nyameni Outride When: 27 May 2017 Where: Port Edward, Kwazulu-Natal Category: MTB This is not a race but rather an adventure ride and is sure to provide for some exceptional riding, breath taking views, awesome Singletrack & good laughs along the way. For those who have not ridden the Wild Coast before this is a great introduction to what the area has to offer. Date – 27th May 2017 Start/Finish – Wild Coast Casino, Port Edward Turning Point – Nyameni Falls Distance – Approximately 40km Time – 6h00am for 6h15am Riding Time – Approx.4,5hrs / Total time - Approx. 5,5hrs Maximum No. of Riders – 20 Riding – Lots of Singletrack, Beach riding on the spring low tide, some jeep track. There is a bit of a beast of a portage to start the ride….. After Ride – You can join us at the The Old Pont for a lunch and Drink. Entry Fee is R30 if you would like to make use of the shower facilities. What to Bring – The usual spares (incl. Hanger Bracket) / Sports Drink or Water / Breakfast snacks (Energy Food) Costs - R160 Additional Costs – R30 (if you want to shower at the Old Pont) / R20 per a Vehicle for parking at the Wild Coast Casino / Rands for a meal and drinks after the ride.
