Morning Gents / Ladies Sincere apologies for the late reply , I'm not much of a hubber and guess that makes the comments look even worse . I was told about the comments re not getting a response from our team and have taken a look . Totally unacceptable and def not what we want happening as a new store . there are absolutely no excuses and all we can do is sincerely apologize and get it fixed . What i can say is that it was not intentional at all . As many know we have the Paarl Adventure Trails , events and many other products in the group and have tried to build a great name through the quality and service we give . Specialized Paarl is no different . The enquiries system was designed to receive enquiries, and allow the team to respond fast . this has obviously not always been happening and we will address this immediately . sorry okes . given us a kick up the ass and we will do better going forward Darren

Kings Kloof – A No Go !! After a couple of months of planning , work and great excitement it is very disappointing for us to announce that Hero Adventure will no longer be taking over the Kings Kloof trails We have been working with some members of the trust for a couple of months after been asked to consider taking over the trails , Hero Adventure were informed that we could go ahead and get preparations for opening done . Unfortunately in the last 3 weeks we were informed that some members of the trust were against the agreement and even after a number of attempts to convince them of the benefits and host of other positive impacts the park would have, we were informed this week that not all members approved the initial agreement and thus we could no longer continue. It is very disappointing for us but unfortunately out of our hands The team at Hero are busy with a number of other planned projects, and there are some exciting additions on the way. We look forward to providing many more great places to experience what Hero Adventure offer.

HERO ADVENTURE TAKE OVER KINGS KLOOF VENUE After careful consideration and negotiations with land owners, The Hero Adventure team can officially announce the take-over of the Kings Kloof Trails The opportunity came our way as a result of the great reviews and development of Hero Adventure Park at Heia Safari. The Kings Kloof Trails on the west rand have been a favourite for locals in the area for a number of years but have needed an upgrade recently and unfortunately the trails were closed earlier this year. Our vision of developing safe, quality adventure venues took another step forward with the request to look at taking over this venue. For us this presents another exciting challenge that we are looking forward to. We have had to carefully consider the decision ensuring that we can 1stly handle the challenge without any of our existing projects been affected negatively, but also ensure we can deliver an exciting new product to our customers, something that will take the Hero Brand to the next level. What will Hero Kings Kloof Have? Without giving too much away we will be developing a number of new trails that will include beginner, intermediate and more advanced routes. Downhill trails pump tracks and a host of other exciting developments are on the cards. As with Hero Adventure at Heia Safari, this venue will be a multisport venue catering for MTB, Trail Running, Hiking, Obstacle racing, Adventure Events and others. When will it be open? Redevelopment will take a considerable amount of time but we plan to open the 1st Phase before the end of the year and build from there. Ideas and Suggestions We would like to get feedback from locals and Hero Supporters, so hit us with all your ideas and suggestions on what you would like to see implemented and developed at Hero Kings Kloof Memberships We will be launching our Hero Adventure Membership in the next few weeks , more details will be released shortly but what we can tell you is that memberships will be blanket memberships that will give you access to all the facilities at all the parks for 1 price Once again we would like to that all the people who continue to support Hero, without you this dream would not be, we look forward to many many more exciting times

Guys , thanks for the awesome feedback and advice , really good to see guys taking a interest , that is what we need and will do what we can when we can 1 favour though , We have Launched our 1st Zero-2-Hero Mtb Festival online . the event is on 9 August at the park we are going all out for this event , with a 50km , a 25km , a 6km kiddies and event a Pump Trac Challenge for the little ones Each entry get a awesome Branded Hero T- Shirt that is really cool quality made by Rockets Compression then all Medals and also Goddie Bags Lots on Entertainment and fun on the day 7 Awesome water points and lots more Kiddies area with minders and lots of activities please spread the word as much as you can . been the 1st official Hero Event we are competing against the big established okes so people nervous to enter . it will be an event very different from the normal mtb races so give it a try . entries at www.cycleevents.co.za and check out our Facebook page for more details

Come and get involved For those who visit the park on a regular basis you might have noticed some new sections that we have opened in the last few weeks. This is the 2nd phase of development where we will be opening a number of new trails over the coming months In addition we would like to get more involvement from you, our supporters, so over the next phase we are looking at setting up trail building clinics, getting cyclists who have ideas on new trails and changes involved, and even run a few competitions for design ideas and so on. We have cut a new section on the red route and are in 2 minds what this section should be and how it should be rated. The trail is Very new and has not been used so this seems to be the ideal start to get you involved. Over the next 2 weeks we would like to set up outrides where you can cycle this section and then give us your feedback where we should make changes , what it should be rated as and finally a name . So if you are keen then keep an eye out on our Facebook Page for dates The 1st cycle on this closed section will be this Saturday during the Outlandish Outride that the guys from West Rand Cycles and Cipla Nutrition run. We have designed the routes in such a way to get the most fun out of them and that mean a lot of single track yes, but for events I think you will be surprised . yes there will be places difficult to pass , but routes used , Direction and even new sections and how we use them should sort potential passing issues out Hope to see you there . Guys on another note re the Zero-2-Hero Event ,some people are calling asking if its just a social "fun ride" and must everyone dress up short answer is NO , We are a group of okes really passionate about adventure sports and our brand is created around people . we built the park with the mission of creating a place where everyone ,Pro ,Social ,Young or Old has something to enjoy .We are far from perfect or the best , but we are striving to be the best . everything we do is done from feedback and advice , we look at a potential trail or event and think about what would be cool for us and you to enjoy and try make it happen from there the event is just that , it has the serious side for those who are out to win it or do there best. if you want to wear your normal Kit that is cool , but then there is the fun side where we hope people will take mountain biking to a new level of entertainment where they dress up or come out for a day of fun with the family .Been a superhero is the theme so you take it from there .
