  1. I was also there on Saturday night, right in the front! Its about time we get more Rock n Roll music back in SA, and the smaller venue is much better than any of the stadium shows in my opinion. It was great seeing all the other spectators embracing the show and Rock n Roll by the way they dressed and the way they responded to the band members. Was lucky enough to see the current Guns n Roses with Axl Rose live in LA in 2006, so now i have completed the two stars by seeing Slash on saturday, plus Mr Matt Sorum gave me his drum sticks after the show. All of them are super talented, and i think they put on epic show Watching Slash play Sweet Child 'o Mine.....dream come true. Rock on Guys!
  2. Look where Lance is now! All the people that were talking about doping were treated like lepers or called haters. The truth is the truth and it will come out
  3. While we are on the topic of doping, and talking about people who have doped and might have doped, how can we have 2 presenters on TV(supercycling) who have tested positive for drugs, and now reperesent the sport. If you want to clean out the sport, you need to start at the top and NOT worry about, who someone is, or the position that they hold in the community. Lance Armstrong is a perfect example of how the cycling illuminati can fall. David George needs to be ostracised from the sport! For far too long doping cheats have been ruining the dreams of clean cyclists who now race fun rides on the weekends........but at least they go to sleep at night knowing that they arent living a lie. As for cycling being blamed for being a dirty sport, people need to open their eyes and realise wherever there is money, there will be people cheating. Rugby......never ever a doping story, yet they all look like they are on roids, bet they wont pass the same doping controls as cyclists! Nuff said
  4. As far as the rain is concerned, the SeaSucker was originally developed for the marine industry hence the name SeaSucker. It holds come rain or shine, the SeaSucker does come with a locking mechanism, the actual quick release can be locked and this locks the bicycle to the SeaSucker. There is also a window anchor which locks the SeaSucker to the car! The SeaSucker is not a permanent attachement and should last 5 years easily provided you take care of the unit and attache and remove it after every race. Replacement cups are quite inexpensive and easily replaceable.
  5. Each unit comes with a minimum of 4 vacuum cups, the difference between convetional suction cups and the SeaSucker is that the SeaSucker is a vacuum seal and not a suction seal. All the details are on the website. www.seasucker.co.za
  6. For all those cyclists who don't want a roof rack or towbar on their car, you can now use the SeaSucker portable bike rack. The SeaSucker is new and unique product and while it doesn't cater for everyone it does serve a great purpose for cyclists who drive BMW's, Mercs and other sedan cars. Attaches and removes in seconds and makes transporting your bike a breeze, while allowing you to drive virtually any car you want without a bulky bike attachment. www.seasucker.co.za Now available at: 1) Northcliff cycles 2) Design In Motion Tried and tested from Jhb to CT and back, each vacuum cup can handle 80kgs of pressure. Suitable for both road and mountain bikes. (Through axle adaptors available)
