Left my black Giro helmet and Black/grey Cyclogel half fingers next to the cleaning point in the parking area on Saturday. They haven't been handed in to Meerendal and nothing's been put up on Tygerberg MTB fb page. Just stabbing in the dark here, doesn't look like I'll get them back.

I have Maxxis Bighorn 762 muds on my Wrangler and loving them! On and off road wet/dry traction is very good and they are very well priced. There are plenty of different options but for your shorty Paj I'd say check out the directional Kumho KL71, Maxxis Bighorn both the 762 and 764, Hankook RT-03 and yes, the Federal Couragia. The tread pattern and lug spacing is very similar to the 762 Bighorn so it will perform very well. Both those also have good shoulder lugs for low pressure protection against sharp objects. If you really want BFG, then take a look at their KM2 mud, I've heard it's quite decent compared to it's AT counterpart. Good luck and never look back ???? PS. Do you have a suspension lift?

Hi James, I'm also pretty new after last owning a bike about 14 years ago. Also in Pinelands. Olympic Cycles River Club are wanting to set up a ride club, but for now I'm riding around alone or with a friend who also just recently got his bike. Hi guys, I weigh between 120-125kg and just got my GT Karakoram on Sunday, 29er with Alex rims. It has 32 spokes, not 28, so being a heavy rider shouldn't be an issue. At this stage, heavy riders should be working on getting fitness up and weight down on tar. I won't even be doing smooth ST for the next few months, so wheels/spokes bending won't be a problem as roads are about as smooth and level as you get. 105kg on a Sola 2 will be just fine as long as he's not abusing it, initially. When we decide to hit the trails, then consider upgrading.
