Cycling SA has to be to blame for this, the SA Champs in PE was shockingly organized and today’s stage once again proves their incompetence. PE took a fair amount of blame for the SA Champs but you can’t help but wonder if the problem rests at the top. Did the organizers not publish the route and the roads affected by temporary closures in the local press? (The reason I ask is that I live in PE and have yet to see anything in the press, drastic contrast to Ironman where a notice is included with the Rates and Taxes bill for the 2 months preceding the race.)

Is there any way of finding out what your CSA licence number is before they send you your card? I applied for a licence on MyRace at the beginning of Jan however I want to enter a race at the beginning of Feb and it requires my CSA licence number, I realize that the card will take a while to arrive but is it possible to get the number before my card arrives? Thanks in advance

Hi I am new to cycling and i'm looking to purchase a road bike. What would you recommend (dont want to spend over R10K)? Would going the 2nd hand route be better in the beginning? What size bike should I be looking for? (I am a 1.73 tall male) Thanks for the help in advance
