  1. Hi Edzy If you are going to use your Mtb on a indoor trainer I would highly recommend getting a spare wheel that has a Mtb Slick on - using a normal Mtb tyre is very loud and becomes very annoying while trying to train and or listen to music at the same time. I would start with an entry level trainer to see how much use your getting out of it before you go and splash out lots of cash on something that could potentially become a very fancy door stop lol You will need to buy a Ant dongle, speed and cadence sensor as well so that Zwift recognizes you effort on a stationary bike.
  2. Martin Pj has a very good point : If you want to get the most of of your body and be comfortable get a proper bike fit and don't change it once you happy. also its very difficult to go from a road bike position to a TT position on the same bike - a TT position is so different to a road bike position.
  3. So sorry that your bikes were taken. Did you manage to ask city of Cape town for CCtv footage for that area? It's almost impossible to get away with 3 bikes so quickly without anyone seeing a thing? It is highly likely that you were being watched for some time for people to take your bikes while you away?
  4. lol sorry but I had to laugh when I finally realised that you talking about a nought bar ?? Try a real sports drink like Cadence or High 5.
  5. Its very simple if you want that time do 7 x 5min all out efforts twice a week on nice long climbs, naturally you'll loose weight and climb faster which means you'll keep up with your seeded group. don't loose contact over the first 4 climbs and you will be fine. ride 3 hour - 4 hours days on weekends. the first 10km of the Argus is very fast so make sure when you do your intervals your hitting them at 175bpm so you get use to climbing at lactate threshold. good luck
  6. Just my 2 Cents worth, always get someone you trust to view something your buying over the internet as far as second hand goods go. request more pictures of a purchase especially when the value of goods exceeds 4k. Both bike shop and seller gain benefits by giving you misleading information. I hope your project continues and you enjoy riding the bike.
