Anyone that know good cycle shop in Cape town (western Cape) that can fully equipt a bicycle for touring. panniers etc I know there are some online shops like www.cycletouring.co.za, but I like to see the stuff I want to buy. I am one of those that need to see quality firsthand of items. Will be doing 4 months cycle tour and need to be outfitted fully. Any ideas to shop that can help, where I can go sit down with the shop owner and discuss what I want, and who is willing to listen to my requirements, instead of trying to sell me something they want to sell and not what I need. hubbers I need some info. I need to get myself a new saddle and need your experience and recommendations Some background info. Currently riding about 10-14 hours a week with max about 16 hours a week. Weekend rides is nice and long 3-5 hours. Current weight 82 kg. I need a COMFORTABLE saddle but still descent for racing also. (under 450 grams).The emphazise on "comfortable". Currently riding a Selle Italia Flite TI, but I find it very hard and uncomfortable for rides past 2 hours especially on the sitbones. Long weekend rides really becomes a pain in the @ss.
