  1. Never carried one myself, but rode with a friend one who carried his, carried it in his camelbak backpack, not the wisest thing to do imo.
  2. Thanks, this seems like a decent price, will check it out.
  3. Thanks, will have a look at these, being using Anatomics and a pair of assos in the past, just wondered if there's anything cheaper out there.
  4. Good day guys, where can I find decent priced good quality Bib Shorts dropped alot of weight, now my XL no longer fit, need a few new pairs but working on a budget.
  5. I use the polar h7(http://www.polar.com/za/products/accessories/H7_heart_rate_sensor) with the v650 , i bought the heart rate monitor for about R900, it works with my android device and ios devices and is compatible with strava, runtastic, endomondo . It works fairly well and with bluetooth but if you planning on getting a compatible watch or cycle computer lateron you will be restricted to polar models that support the bluetooth hrm, so i took the polar v650 cyclecomputer which costed me R 2900
  6. I have the cycleops supermagneto , 29" wheels do work but with a standard mtb tire its quite noisy, id suggest using a trainer specific tire or slicks, i think other cycleops trainers do also support 29' size tires.
  7. And how is the realism of the supermagneto, also is it good for power training and hill training?
  8. I live in Johannesburg south, work in central johannesburg , anywhere in johannesburg is fine for me.
  9. Thanks for the reply, do you ship to Johannesburg or is there any stockists of these products in Johannesburg? And what is the warranty on the frame?
  10. Hi Guys I started cycling about a year ago and would like to continue training indoors in the winter as it gets dark early, have been looking at cycleops supermagneto trainer and cycleops jet fluid trianer. Has anyone used these trainers before and can advise whether they are good for training and any other brands that you guys can recommend. My budget is around 4 - 4.5 k . Thanks
  11. I use runtastic pro, and sony cycle energy portable power supply incase my battery runs out. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.runtastic.android&hl=en https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/runtastic-gps-running-walking/id336599882?mt=8
  12. I cant really think of any real advantages, personally i find it easier to use a 48 mm also the 60mm makes my bike look really goofy.
