Does anybody have a tensioner kit available, or know were can I find a half link for a 8 speen chain?

Same inside profile as a 9 speed casset.

I saw a gt bmx in a shop, with a extra set of "casset" like spokets, similar to the ones you would find in the conversion kit.

I have a bike that need's to be converted into a single speed. Can I use the interchangeble bmx casset on a 8 speed hub? I have seen the kit at crc and was thinking of making my own spacers and tensioner, but need to know about the sproket.Die Holander2009-04-15 08:09:13

I need work done to my old Alpina. Diamond black with silver pinstripping. Alpina's logo's never stood out as the most interesting, so I might leave that out. With all this there's the bars and neck. The crank and rims that needs the same treatment. Give me some idea of cost if posible. Thanx. Gerhard.
