  1. Thanks for the feedback. I have contacted both, Loch's hoek accomodation will only be open in 2021 as they are still building, and Monte Bello is being used as a quarantine facility and therefore also no available accomodation...
  2. I need to travel to Bloem and Kimberley this upcoming week for business. I’m looking for a lodge that has mtb trails on site or near by as I would like to start and end my day with a 20-40km mtb ride. Any recommendations as it will be my first business trip here. Example of what I’m looking for is something similar to Mankele near Nelspruit. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Also keen to join. Cycle enough but eat too much so don’t seem to drop weight. Current stats: Weight: 116Kg Height: 179cm Age: 30 Currently cycle between 200-300km / week. Winter my downfall as too cold to go cycle at 4am. Hoping to be strict enough to eat less and spin through winter this year.
  4. It's not bad at all. It bottle necks at the forest section but after that plenty room for overtaking. The cyclelab track has also been worked on alot making it more enjoyable. I ride there almost weekly and always enjoy it. It is fast and flat but I enjoy it and am looking forward to doing it again this year
  5. Huddle park trails now R50 and same for kids. Bit steep in my opinion considering the length of routes. Thoroughly enjoy riding there but at the new prices would rather ride else where.
  6. After a rather unpleasant experience of my Rockshox fork coming apart on a ride, I had the pleasure of dealing with these two companies to get my warranty claim resolved. They were fast and a pleasure to deal with keeping me updated through the process. After dropping my bike at Tool-up cycles Monday 2weeks back, and getting it back the same week Friday with an upgraded air fork, I must say it has left me with confidence that some shops and suppliers are more than willing to go the extra mile. What a fantastic experience and I highly recommend dealing with either of these organisations!
  7. Pair of medium size gloves found at cyclelab airport track.
  8. Thanks all. Assistance is much appreciated
  9. Will check both out tomorrow. Anyone have contact details or address for trail tech?
  10. No never heard of it. Where is that?
  11. Anyone in Nelspruit that knows how to set gears? Hear till friday and LBS busy and cant assist before then. Would really like to get some riding in at Mankele before I head back to JHB but after todays ride gears completely out. Happy to supply the beers
  12. HI All Im looking to replace all my bearings on my bike. Any idea where I can find the bearing numbers / sizes without pulling the whole bike apart? This is the bike: http://www.trekbicyclesuperstore.com/product/trek-fuel-ex-5-29-220722-1.htm Any feedback / help would be much appreciated.
  13. Huge thanks to Allison. And thanks for the tip on the trails. Got some good riding in this afternoon. Will get some more in tomorrow. Thanks again!
  14. Greenway lodge in white river. As far as I know the car oil will cause dirt build up on the chain which will act like a grinding paste? It's a mtb, and lots of dust.
  15. Feel like a ass for posting this. In white river on business. Got to hotel and realised left wallet at home. No problem though as paid for room and meals in advance so can survive without it. Then I realise I washed my bike thoroughly before I came and forget to lube chain. No wallet so can't go into a store and buy. Long story short is there anyone who can assist me with some lube for my chain, just one application and ill eft the cash to replace the bottle?
