Right, its safe to say dont do it... 1. Came out the box with air in the system - spongy after bleeding and refilling 2. Changed fluid to lighter dot - still spongy 3. Avid pads - still not happy 4. Rear brake lever failure - nearly resulted in death. 5. Brakes in the bin - happy Now Im on the hunt for Tetkos or juicies - anyone know where i can get a set for under R1800?

Taking the plunge and getting the DB2s today... will let you know if its a fail or score. Had the tektros (great brakes and easy to set up) on my previous bike so i'll give a comparison
