  1. Hi Guys Anyone know the rider height recommendations for the STF/R? Would someone 196cm tall fit on the large frame? Thanks
  2. howzit chaps Looking for some advice from the suspension gurus on this group. I bought a second hand 120mm Reba for my stf. In order to get 25% sag i am pumping it to 40psi. Seems very low as the gauge on the side says I should be at 120psi. I seem to be using most of the travel without bottoming out unless taking a huge knock. However when riding a steeper trail the fork is almost fully compressed. Is this low pressure normal or might there be something wrong with the fork? Would some bottomless tokens perhaps be the solution (currently has none)?
  3. Hi Guys Just looking for some info on this frame I recently purchased. Any idea of its age, value etc? Its been built up with very basic parts for now. Going to use it as a commuter for now. Might look at converting it into a groad bike in the future. Would it be any good for that? Thanks
  4. So ive completed my build for now. Most of the parts came off my BMC FS02 frame. I decided to go with a bike more suited to the riding I do. I live on the Cascades forest in PMB so its steep climbs followed by awesome trails down. The BMC was just to sharp on the geometry. Great going up but just no fun going down. I went with the STF so there are less parts to adjust or wear. Hopefully it will last many years of abuse. The build consists of a Reba 120mm boost, currently has SLX brakes soon to be upgraded to XT with 180mm rotors, WTB Frequency wheels, Sram X1 with an 11-46 XT cassette and a Race Face Aeffect 32T crank. The tyres are 2.25 Maxxis Ardent and Crossmark 2 combo. The bars are the Lyne Amp 780mm. Upgrades for the future will include a 150mm dropper post and possibly a wider front rim with a 2.4 tyre. Maybe something a bit more aggresive too. I had to make an adapter for the current front hub to run it as boost so I will need to get a new hub too. I will have to save up some some more bucks first.
  5. interested to know your decision? I’m also between a medium and a large. I’m 178 tall. Planning on building with a wide bar/ short stem.
  6. Hi Does anyone successfully run Fox remote lock out? My bike came with front and rear on one remote. I find I have to strip, clean, oil and resemble every third ride to keep them smooth. And I still find I have to bend down and assist them to release. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or maybe there is a trick I don't know about. Thanks
