  1. Ja. I thougt It might me the guy behind the bars . . . But was living in denail !!!!
  2. Thanx man. Appreciate the advice. When I bought my first 29" (Scott Spark) I was planning on doing "road races" & gravel road races. And I fell for the whole advantage on the long open road sales pitch. However these days 99% of my time is spend on off road/single tracks & the 29" doesn't handle that well. Hence I started playing with the idea.
  3. Ok. I didnt get the "boost" part. It is a 2016 Spark 950.
  4. Hence I'm not going to answer you !! Don't want a newbie like myself confusing another newbie ????
  5. And that was my next question !! ???? So in plain english. What do i need to do/change ? Will it work nicely or will I cause some cockup somewhere ?
  6. Hi Gents. I have a Scott Spark and I have "heard somewhere" that you can fit 27.5" wheels on it. Ok. If not. Then my question is. Can such a convertion be done and what changes would that require ?
  7. Thanx. I agree. But if you first service after buying your new bike leave a bad taste in your mouth. Then it is a bit difficult to build a relationship with the store ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanx. I think I will give them a try ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanx EllisvO. But it is unfortunately Hatfield I'm refering to. Won't be going back there any time soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Guys. Who is your prefered agent to take your bikes especially Scotts for a service in Gauteng/Pretoria area ? The place I bought my bike from either doesn't care about after sales service or doesn't have a clue what they are doing ! And Judging by their crap attitude, I reckon it might be the first mentioned. Hence I'm now desperately looking for a reliable place to look after my bike.
  11. Thanx guys ! I think I'll give them a go. I see there is a lot of place left to "grab on to " for those downhill / winding sections, which was my main concern.
  12. Do any of you guys use the Ergon Grips ? I'm looking at the GP MTB Comfort Series. I mostly ride on tracks and try to stay away from loooong tar roads as much as possible ! Will they work well, on a track or are they mostly for road ? Thanx in advance
