    Hello Everyone. I hope someone on here will be able to assist. I recently moved into a smaller apartment and have no space to store my bikes. They currently stand in the passage and can get in the way. I would like to mount them (frame parallel to wall) onto a wall in one of the rooms to save space. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to do this, where to buy specific products etc? Note that one of the bikes has the cables running outside of the top tube so a simple bracket probably won't work.

    Thank you for all the responses and assistance. So I ended up going for a second hand Giant Defy. Hopefully it will give me many years of faithful service...

    Oh and the reason I would prefer not buying second is because of the fit, don't want to splash out 10k and not be able to use it.

    Thank you for your responses. Budget is around 8-10k. I don't think they are shifting old stock because it is a 2016 range (strela sport). Yes it is the Claris, which I see the Giant SCR's come with too. Now is there a major difference between the 8 and 10 speeds? I'm just starting out and don't see myself doing anything majorly competitive for at least the next year.

    I am looking at buying a new road bike to start off with. The guy at the bike shop I visited advised me that in terms of value for money, nothing will beat the Silverback Strela (the 2016 model looks spectacular I must say). Not even Giant or Merida will be as good according to him. Does anyone have experience with this bike and is it worth getting? It come with full Shimano equip, but just an 8-speed. Is this good enough to start off with?
