  1. I work for TomTom and this watch is great. They sell for about R1799 and they really are ideal for running. Only down side is the battery only lasts for 8 - 10 hours when using the GPS, but it sure is the best looking sports watch out there at the moment.... One of my friends ran the comrades this year with one of those and she was well impressed.
  2. Got a email from my broker today stating thet the claim is registered and they are going to replace/pay me out. Jipeeeeeee I am so excited, because now I can start looking for another bike. Oh yes Stefan, Im with Lion of Africa (I know, doesnt sound like a legit insurance company) but work through a broker that I have been using for 11 years now. Looks like they are only going to pay out between 10 and 12 so I should be able to get a decent second hand bike.
  3. Hi Jules Thanks, will do the rounds at all the LBS and pawn shops in my area. From my two bikes they had to nick the one that was not specified, but I'm trying for the insurance company to cover it under my houshold contents as it was stolen from my property.
  4. Hi All San news, but my Scott Scale 60 was stolen last week from my garage. I stay in The Reeds, Centurion area and the in sedent happend on the 16-05-1012. Bike specs are Red Scale size M with full SLX 9sp and White Rock Shox SID Race fork. If anyone has any info or spot my bike, please give me a call on 0825677156 or ockert.steyn@tomtom.com For the person who helps me find it, I will give him a TomTom GPS of his choice. Ockert
  5. NICE WORK!!
  6. Although it is a very nice fork, I don’t have the cash to buy more MTB stuff this month..... My wife will kill me. Plus I think that fork is an overkill for my Mountain biking skills.
  7. LOL SteveS !!!
  8. LOL dont worry a "white fork wanted" add will be coming from my side soon.
  9. Thanks a lot guys, this helps me tremendously. I will measure the head set tonight to get a better idea of where I am. I think the frame being a medium is a bit of a advantage in terms of finding second hand forks. Thanks for the external link Edman
  10. Sounds easy enough, do you perhaps know what the length of the average stem is where the fork goes through?
  11. LOL
  12. Ok thanks, at least I now have something to work from.
  13. Tanks SteveS I will definitely take my bike for a professional setup, but my problem is that I am looking for a second hand fork to save some costs and most second hand forks have already been cut. Is there any way in witch I can calculate what minimum steerer length I should look at? This looks more complicated than I thought.....
  14. Hi Hubbers, I am building a new MTB and I need some advice as I am new into Mountain biking and don’t know much. I bought a frame that has a 118mm head tube length including the headset bearing cups. I dint know what the total length of the headset is. I also don’t know what the average length of a stem is and how much spacers I have to get. Any help would be appreciated as I am a bit in the dark and dont know what steerer length I need to get when looking for forks.
  15. My friend has the same problem as you. He records the sound on his pc then he plays it back through his desktop speakers. Thats the only way he could get it to upload. Hope this helps you at all.
