Hi there...I wonder if you could offer me some advice. My local cycle shop has a sale on at the moment. ..and I'm thinking of buying the Specialized Epic comp 2016 model. I don't do stage racing..can't take too much time off.....I cycle every weekend for 40 plus km . I'm 44 yrs young...and my fitness level is OK ish. ...Am I mad to spend R33 000 on this bike ? Ha ha...thanks for all the comments. ...i watch the highlights of the Joberg2c thats currently on...it just makes me wanna get out and cycle the race. ..gteat motivator to do it...maby with a years training it can be done !! Hope to see all of you at the start next years event !

Thanks for the info everyone...ive deceided to enter this event in 2017...hopefully the wife has made enough money to fund the entry fee. 900km over 9 days is pretty daunting. ..so after the Argus i start my training....i just want to enjoy it...and finish it !
