  1. Maybe I've just been lucky then ordered twice before and delivery was by me in 3 working days both times.
  2. I saw this thread and used a shop for my MX motorcycle shopping a few times. Great service and they can pretty much get anything you want if it's not listed. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either (at least for the MX stuff) https://mxalliance.co.za/product-category/bicycle/
  3. Thanks!
  4. Hi there- new to this forum and the biking thing. Well, thats not 100% true. I rode in school. an old "Mongoose" whatchamacallit 10 gears (when 12 was the in thing.), made of premium grade lead. It had cable brakes that snapped on me a few times carrying my school-bag on my back, hitting tar etc. My first time ever I got drunk I had to pedal the thing in the heat back home, my mate got a flat on his single-speed and we had to walk 9km's to his house. yeah fond memories and I guess I'm not as old as i sound here. In my 30's. Then I got a proper bike, those with an engine in it, and I left this pedal pushing mental illness alone. No...for some reason I picked up the illness again recently. Never done a trail since then (well those trails where just getting to wherever you where wanting to go), I rode a bike the other day when my wife got a Giant Boulder as she just wanted to ride it to work for fitness. Holy crap? Where did these thigns come from. Shocks, gears that clicks into place, not like mine where I had to coax it into position untill it stopped making krrrrrrrr noises, and the thing seems to be made out of an actual metal from the post Cold-War era! It's a cheapish bike and recently went to some LBS'...yup learnt some lingo already...to see what there are. Holy crap. TONS of toys, mostly which I cannot afford. Anyway, took a spin on it - my butt did NOT like this and erm...one of the fellas got sat on once. Took another bike on a small ride and liked it. Anyway, what did happen is I remembered how fun it could be. I still ride motorcycles and also do Enduro riding (with MX motorcycle) but I'm in the mindset of getting into this MTB thing. It's also something my wife and I can do together, whereas the MX / Enduro riding is not, although I see myself going to like technical riding and also that we will need to get her a better bike. I looked on here for 2 weeks, watched countless videos on bikes 26" 27.5", 29" etc and am on the one side more confused than I was in the beginning. Anyway, sorry for the long winded first post, but looking forward to start riding.
