Was thinking about Johann this morning and specifically about his tandem. We spoke about it a few times before it was built but I never saw it built. I "google" Johann Rissik tandem just now and voila there it is, for sale on the hub! Hope it finds a good home. Someone from the Freedom family?

Johann gave me the olive oil on one of his visits. Didn't ask questions. I just felt honoured to get something from the Dikwiel Kommando. Rest in peace Johann! We met through Graeme Murray when he (Johann) was on the last leg of his Sishen-Saldanha Tour. We kept in touch since and it has been a privilege and pleasure knowing him. His "chain lube" works a treat on salads!
