  1. The oldest gloves, are the ones that lasts, to this day, stitching, everything, and is the correct size (except for velcro). The gloves that tears apart, are the new gloves.
  2. Here is the thing, I have been selling 2nd hand gear over the years, you know, as I grow and shrink, but my Leatt gear always just disintegrate - it has zero 2nd hand value.
  3. This version of the glove was well stitched, but the rubber grommets perish and peel. Cannot really take pictures of poor velcro binding, but trust me, it sucks. Super poor stitching. Enduro pants peels and splits. MTB gloves just fall apart. Otherwise the pants are in good condition.
  4. True, I have cracked(supposed to, as it absorbs the impact) a poor fitting helmet in a crash, so that works very well as well. Happy that it saved my dome. Did the helmet save me and did its job, totally. Did it fit poorly, yes, my chin was exposed, but there was probably science behind that *shrug*
  5. Myself and some of my friends have also had the unfortunate experience of a severe blistered rash from the silicone grip that they include in their elbow guards and impact shorts. I think like all of us, we go all in, especially if there it is a local brand, but they are disappointing me big time. A good warrantee program does not cut it, as the competition is bomb proof and have very failures to act on a warranty program. I will stop being a "Karen" and just post some pictures.
  6. Old topic, but I will add to the list. Big supporter of local companies, love the Leatt branding, high quality materials, but man, there some things that is totally unacceptable : Poor velcro, on everything that has velcro : Gloves, waterproof pouches, etc. They just don't grip after a while. Stitching on gloves, MTB and MX are very poor and will come apart withing weeks of use Adventure enduro pants' rubber protection on the knees peel almost immediately, after the first handwash using no soap Glove sizing just got smaller since last year Knee guards for mx straps are too short MTB gloves just wear through abnormally quick (I have 100% and Fox gloves that have lasted for years) Zips on hoodies just splits, you know, the classic issue you get with poor zips. Then, I have heard from other people : Boot soles come loose when you submerse them in water - this happens often in enduros I liked the boot's look, fit and price - after I heard this from multiple people with personal experience, I would not buy this. I hope they fix this in future, but for the moment, I have to go back to the classics like Alpinestars, Fox, 100%, etc. The sad part is, that every sub-par(opinionated, sure) brands like Fly is manufactured according to better standards. I love this brand and I wore it with pride, but I have to move on.
