  1. Seriously. These are professional athletes. They work damn hard to be where they are. Sponsors should be made to pay to play. Absa benefit from the top in the world participating in an event that they sponsor. How much coverage would they get if the likes of Nino and others would not be at the event. Wine to whales, Saani to sea, the Munga etc case in point. No big stars. No coverage. Epic is world wide coverage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. But why does this have to be the Norm. Think of the costs. 60 k for your entry fee that goes towards what? All the food is covered by Woolworths. Tents are bought and paid for and have a lifespan of at least 4 Epics Absa pays huge bucks to be a named sponsor. Land Rover pays huge to be a sponsor not to mention all the other sponsors. There was a reason why Kevin Vermaak was able to sell this product for 10 of millions of dollars. Surely at the very least they can get another sponsor to make the prize money a 100 000 euros. Think of the field we would have every year. This is way bigger than the Sun City 2 million dollar where here they are getting revenue from contestants. At the Sun City they pay appearance money. Makes no sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
