Remember, you don't have to KOM or QOM to win with Contego. Simply join the Contego Segment Hunter Strava club and go ride any of the segments featured in the series to go into the draw to win R30,000 in Contego unit trusts.
  8. Thanks for the nomination guys. It's probably our most popular segment with four nominations.
  9. After a successful first episode, Contego Segment Hunter is back. This time we've washed off the dirt and headed for the tarred roads of the Cape peninsula to take in the picturesque views of False Bay from the slopes of Red Hill. Click here to view the article
  10. Hi Snailtrail021 We've got six Contego Segment Hunter episodes planned. Once the last episode is released, we'll set a deadline to have ridden the segments in the series. To give you an idea, we're currently filming the second episode and scouting segments for the rest. So you have at least two or three months to get out and ride the segment. Also remember to join our Strava club to go into the competition. You can join the club here: https://www.strava.com/clubs/segmenthunter For each Contego Segment Hunter segment you ride, you get one entry into the final draw. You can still submit segments should you want your favourite segments to be considered.
  11. Pop your segments into the nominations form on the page here: https://www.bikehub.co.za/features/_/articles/competitions/nominate-and-win-with-contego-segment-hunter-and-cadence-nutrition-r4772 And we'd be glad to consider your nominations.
  12. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Coenie Thomas. We did our utmost to comply with all trail rules and made every effort to promote trail advocacy in the video and article. We were granted special privileges by the landowners and club to allow filming possible but the intention was to always keep the video true to the rules of the trail. We acknowledge our oversight in terms of the rules regarding the road and will make even more effort to comply with all rules when filming for future episodes. We are privileged to have access to some of the best trails on private land and would like to keep it that way.
  13. We're excited to launch the first episode of our online video series Contego Segment Hunter. The first segment in the series is Bloemslang - Just the Drop at Bloemendal Wine Estate. After consulting with the team and local riders, Gert Heyns was selected a worthy challenger to Louis Bresler-Knipe's King of the Mountain. Watch the video below to see if Gert takes the KOM.
