My old Silverback recently gave up the ghost so it was time for a new bike. Over the past couple of weeks I went to about 20 shops in JHB to look at 29ers. Some shops didn't even seem keen to help or for me to spend money there (Northcliff cycles), some negotiated hard with some good deals (Cajees and Solomans), the others just left me with an average experiance that didn't make much of an impression, and then..... Linden cycles. What an awesome bunch of people. From Stephan who put up with my stupid questions and may phone calls to get just what I wanted, to Janine who made me feel like a proud father collecting a new child. Thank you to all of you for great service and advice, my Giant Anthem had its first true test at van Gaalens today and it was unbelievable.

Yea was fun, but was a bit upset with the end. Why no beer tent or nice place to sit. Eventually they opened a little beer shop with warm beer. Why couldnt they let the MTB event have access to the end area and clean it for tomorrow. Please dont treat us as the black sheep of the family, and make sure there is cold beer.
