  1. Will do, was just easier here, plus I knew people would help here.👀 But will do so 👍🏼
  2. Same page, thank you. Yes unfortunately Ill need to sell my Titan, otherwise I am too deep in 😵 The reason behind keeping one mtb is just to go on rides and stuff with friends (Just needs something with at least front suspension, so was thinking a HT then plus road, because it does not make sense to buy a HT and a gravel bike. Will see what floats on bikehub 😎
  3. I cant spend more money unfortunately, So if I need something else Ill need to sell my bike unfortunately. Or I miss read your message, did you mean, sell the dual sus and get a gravel bike with road wheels ? Or did you mean keep the DS and get a gravel bike + road wheels ?
  4. I am also back all the time to see if there is something I missed 😂 Going to test some bikes over the next 2 weeks, just not sure if I want to go Gravel bike and Hardtail or Road Bike and Hardtail.. Choices 😵
  5. Very interesting fork and shock lockout 🤔 Is this the first time the lockouts are wireless or not ? Really not sure XD
  6. Thank you, was some time ago tho but hopefully all falls in place. All I need is a training program 😜
  7. Mean looking machine 😎
  8. Have a few contacts, will definitely give it a shot 😊
  9. Might make another forum to ask for help lol, Only clued up on mtb parts. But worth a shot to be honest 😊
  10. Thank you for your input 🙏🏼
  11. Another thing I am wonder about is, hoe much faster is a Hardtail with slicks compared to a Dual Suspension, how much faster is a gravel bike compared to a HT and how much faster is a Road bike compared to the above 👆
  12. Those were in 2018, also did cross country which was 6km. my 5km time was 17 ish minutes. So dont have the most experience in endurance races, did a 10km once in 34mins but thats about it.. Just think I need to find my feet hehe 😂 After school I got a skin decease (Cholinergic Urticaria) So I couldnt really practise or be in the sun, so I lost interest in all sports because it was a living hell.. But I out grew the skin thingy and I am back on track, trying to get into shape like I was. 😅 We all got to start somewhere
  13. Never done a mtb race in my life 😵 Would love to do one. Not the most skillfull cyclist out there. (Bunny hopping over pavements, doing wheelies etc.) But I have a good athletic background and I love to push myself, did a 48s 400m and a 1:54 800m, not the best but not the worst. Have strong genetics as well in the sporting world (my parents.) I would probably be willing to sell my Dual sus for a hardtail tho but dont know if its worthit.
  14. Thank you, I struggle with a hard bike (If it makes sense, like a Hardtail.) Dont think ill survive on a road bike. Main reason why I want to keep a mtb is because a lot of my friends cycle with mountain bikes and I would still love to join them so a HT wouldnt be a bad option but yeah. Still undecided
  15. *please note I am on phone if the format of the message comes out weird or if it sends halfway 😂 I am 23 now, weighing 85kg and is 186cm Also note I want to lose 10ish kg, not that I am fat, just want to be lighter and more healthy. also I dont want to do a 3h tomorrow, I know stuff takes time and I am happy with that. But one needs to start somewhere. I dont have a riding group, I cycling with my gf’s dad but I know we are to slow for 3h goal rides if it makes sense. I cycling with a dual sus Titan racing Cypher. 1) The kind that tries to cycle daily. (If that counts) 2) I would day the last 7 months I was pretty active in the cycling world, trying to practise a more and consistent. 3) I try do cycle 1.5h a day for 4 days a week and try to do one longer ride over the weekend of around 3 ish hours. (9-11 h weekly on a good week.) 4) I was a pretty decent 400/800m athlete in high school. (2016-2018) 5) Self employed but studying full time so busy with studies 6h per week and I would say working around 4ish Hours per day. 6)Work is not stressful at the moment. Its cycling related. 7) They are supportive 8 Quite a lot honestly, probably a few hours a day and more over weekends. 9) I want to be a strong cyclist like I was in my running. I dont want to poer poer at the back, I want to test myself. Current goal will be close to 3hours on the 94.7 10) Stomach issues now and then hehe. Hope this helps
  16. Hehe, not my bike tho, I have a Titan Racing cypher bike. Never been on a road bike, I am afraid its going to be to hard XD I struggle on a Hardtail 😂
  17. I am aware will get something else, this is just what I used this weekend 😊
  18. But in my reply later, everyone should have a better idea of what my plan is etc 😊
  19. I should probably add I am on a dual sus mtb with 2.4 tyres 😂
  20. Thank you for the reply, 3:11 is still insane 🫠
  21. Will give a full reply as soon as I have time 😊👍🏼
  22. Very helpful, thank you. 🙏🏼
  23. So a serious question. For the people who did it around 3 hours. I would love to work to get to something like that but I am a little in the dark. what is the trick to the whole operation when it comes to preparation, is the amount of riding you do(km), the speed you do it at or the total you climb in your rides ? How many km a year will be sufficient? Any feedback will be appreciated, really trying to achieve some goals 🙏🏼
  24. Still blows my mind to think that people do it in 2h30.. like how 😂
  25. My first CTCT was success, did it in 5h30 😜 super tjaffed 😅 Hope everyone had a lekker ride 😊
