After 5 years my rear shock is starting to give trouble. Now I have to decide between Rock Shox or Fox or more specifically Monarch RL or Floar RL? Can get both for roughly the same price. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if it is possible to ride in the actual reserve, not just the Dam area? Need some distance close to home.

I am forced (after 5000km) to repalce my chain, casette and blades. I am looking at shimano's Deore or XT. Is the XT really worth almost twice the money? Have also read and heard that it is possible to reduce chain and casette wear by using 2 or more chains and changing between them regurlarly. Is this true?

Have looked at Mango and they charge R195 to fly the bike, but can't find any indication on the weight of what you can take with you. If you're looking at a bike box and the bike, that is already over 20kg, and then your normal luggage aren't even checked in yet.

What does it cost to fly your bike with you? Is a bike bag enough protection for you bike?

So no-one really knows what you paying for with the XT-Pedals?

With all the recent rain and bad weather in Cape Town, my pedals aren't what they supposed to be. I am busy browsing through the Shimano MTB series of pedals, but can't understand why I should buy the XT or PDM 540 when the weight and pretty much everyting else is almost exactely the same. Any ideas why I should buy the more expensive pedal?

It is definitely in there. Have taken the shock off, lubed everything (including the frame). Nothing i have tried works.

I have a 2008 Giant anthem. for the last few months I the frame started squeeking, scratching noise where the rear suspension is attached to the frame. Have taken it to my local cycle shop a they say it's last collecting in the grooves and frame flexing. After cleaning with preasure hose, it's quite for 4-5 km's then it starts again. Anyone else with the same problem or know how to fix it? Pleeeease.

I recently got some cash loose and need a bicycle carrier. I drive a polo classic (the one with the boot, but don't have a towbar. A towbar is very expensive, and I'm looking at these clip-on things... I also drive long distances, so I'll need something that will be able to hold that. Any ideas of what to buy?

I recently fell off my bike and hurt my fork quite badly. The insurance said they would replace it. I have the option of a Recon Sl (coil) or a Toral Solo air XC for about the same price. The Tora is heavier and lower ranked than the Recon, but the Tora has air. The Recon sounds a bit more reliable, but I don't know. Don't really know what to do. Any help?
