  1. I suppose you could replace that rather "vulgar" word with. Unethical, Unpleasant, Unkind, Malicious, Misguided. Being a somewhat jaded member of the country when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. BUT apparently not in this case.....
  2. Im glad to hear Omnico arent displaying any wankerish tendencies. Ive only ever heard good things about their service and you had my knickers in a tangle there for a moment. Just had a look at the obike website again. Good God they have some saucy old bikes there. (i like older stuff, cars, women so I can see why an 08 GT force is a good idea at that price) Now, just where to find 12.5 thousand rondts laying about. Anyone taken delivery of anything from the sale yet? N
  3. Then you, my friend, are very very fortunate indeed!
  4. Jay Zeeee I await this Noddy Badge with Baited breath. Do you need me to pay for postage? I was wondering if its coming from CRC, do you know what the duties on those are. Are badges considered clothing or parts?? Anyhoo PM me for the postal address and send me banking details. Nods and winks N
  5. Im sure Specialized are lovely bikes.... if you can get a new one every other week because the last one broke. No doubt the worlds top cyclists riding Specialized get their toys replaced as often as necessary and will have a spare bike or two in the team truck. (the rest of us simply cry when something that expensive breaks yet again... thats my stick in the hornets nest
  6. I know of 2 guys in Cape Town but sure, there must be a few more though. As far as support in SA....... very very little, thats where CRC and TARTY come in handy. Peach rides a GT Zaskar trials frame, custom build, but you can also get the ZOO trials specific bikes 26" and 20" here.
  7. a simpler solution is to ride with your mates and blag a squirt of lube off them, that way you get to experiment with different brands at no cost at all
  8. Im not sure Stewie.... I always figured that why we reapplied lube. Comments??? my chain and cassette are showing far less sign of wear with the benzine.
  9. Ive been using benzine, it works the S@#t and doesnt leave any oily residue. Also have a mate who is a jeweler got him to pop the chain in his ultrasonic cleaner in ammonia. It was amazing how much gunk came out of a "clean" chain Gnarly Neil2009-09-29 14:08:01

  12. The short answer is yes, if you ask nicely they will, and label it as parts. They even mark clothing as bike parts if there is a part involved too. Just that many of their brands are quite rare in these parts so remember should anything F@#k out you're on your own, its not fair to expect our local bike shops and wholesalers to help you out with issues should they arise.
  13. by the way this bike is for sale - I'll throw in the couch as a deal sweetener
  14. Hahahahaha - soon as I finish with real work I'll do some more, I may have to pixelate the BB bits - theyre a bit saucy and there may be kids reading this thread.... As for the work on the wall its a bit of history from the studio the 80's did have it's place... Gnarly Neil2009-09-16 14:29:55
