The event attracted 5 000 cyclists in the 2015 edition and the 2016 venue remains unchanged with the only change on the race route that cyclists will be going directly onto the R28 off Beyers Naude Drive without having to descent down and through Muldersdrift. R10 of every race entry will be donated to the South African Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of South Africa.
