Excluding my first bike, I have built all my bikes cos anything off the shelf is a compromise, like someone threw it all in a blender to meet a specific price point. Mix & match of components. Not the right saddle for me. Stem generally too long. Wheels not tubeless or to my liking Tires not Tubeless Stem, seatpost, bars saddle all different makes. So I would buy a bike, sell everything I don't want (at a loss), and start upgrading = SUX Here's what I want: Carbon HT medium maybe large (I'm 1.79m) Shimano XT all over Ritchey Bars, seatpost & "Short" Stem Ritchey Saddle Ritchey, Mavic 29" wheels - Tubeless XT Centre lock Rotors 180 front 160 rear Conti or Schwalbe Tires The frame measurements & geometry would determine Stem & bars. Any Bike shops prepared to do custom builds???
