The first KZNMTB Provincial XCO Cup of the Series once again kicked off in the forest of Hilton on Saturday 18 February. Spectators came from all over the province to support their friends and family on the day, and race organizers could not have asked for better weather conditions with temperatures reaching 30 degrees but a constant breeze throughout the day to keep the riders cool on the course. Along with the changes to the Gravity Series format, the 2017 KZNMTB XCO Cup Series will also see adjustments, with the format being based upon the racing of riders against those of equal ability rather than age and gender. Click here to view the article
