  1. Hi there hubbers, I need your creativity and ideas. I'm in the early brainstorming phases of a handle bar mount that I want to design and 3D print. This is for a small project I'm doing for myself. Basically the handle bar mount will hold a lightweight optical device. The mount will not be used during riding, only for bike setup purposes. So the mount needs to be able to be attached and removed from any size bar several times, preferably without any tools. Also the mount will have to be rigid and precise, as I require a perfect 90deg angle with the handle bar and mount (so no play). I've google a few examples, but was wondering if anyone has any clever designs or ideas ? I've got a 3D package that I will design the mount on, and then 3D print it. Currently 3D printing is (in my mind) the quickest way to get a prototype going. But by the time the design is sorted I might look to machining the mounts. Once again if there is a cheaper option available that would allow to make more of the mounts in less time for less money then please do share. TIA
  2. I'd like this: https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/k-edge-gravity-cap-garmin-mount It's for an 820 Garmin, and I dont want to use the out front mount, and the little mount and rubber band solution doesn't work on my stem (short and fat). But dang... 500 bucks for that? No other solutions or brands that are cheaper?? Or should I just *** and betaal?
  3. Hey guys, sorry for yet another forum... I'm just a bit confused about the mount options for the M7000 brakeset. The CWC website states that they come with I-spec B and I-spec II options (here). But other sites (here, for example) clearly state: Only mountable to I-Spec II! Not compatible to I-Spec A or I-Spec B! Bottom line is I want to integrate my right brake with my I-spec B shifter. Do you know what integration options are provided stock standard? Cheers
  4. Hi Guys Anyone know where I can find a mount for my Bryton Rider 40? Something similar to the attached pic. Similarly, maybe you know of a different brand mount that would be compatible with the Bryton unit, like a Garmin mount, etc. http://www.bikebug.com/images/Garmin%20Mount.jpg
  5. Hi, I have an old Samsung Galaxy S2 that I would like to mount onto my handlebars in order to make use of apps like: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.runtastic.android.mountainbike.lite and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.strava Has anyone purchased and used such a mounting and if so I would really appreciate some feedback on your experience with it. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
