    After a long but gripping week of tough racing, the SA National Track Omnium Championships tested the legs of those still standing at the Bellville Velodrome in the Western Cape on Saturday 9 April. The “Jack Russel of the Track” David Maree rode an impressive four rides to come out on top with the points to seal the Omnium title.     Cycling enthusiasts can look forward to four days of top-quality racing with the 2015 SA Omnium Track Championships, an Inter-Provincial and a Grand Prix scheduled to be held on 4, 5, 6 and 8 November at Africa’s only indoor cycling track, the Olympic-sized Bellville Velodrome in the Western Cape.
