Who’s faster: Trail runners or mountain bikers? We invite you to witness the race that settles the argument. On 22 August, the Contego Trail Running Team goes head-to-head against the Contego Professional Mountain Bike Team at the Meerendal Trail Centre. In what we’re sure is to be an epic battle of chirps, jests and (most importantly) full-on racing, just 60 minutes is all we’ll need to crown the winning discipline. 6-laps, starting off with two laps of trail running followed immediately by four laps of mountain biking will have the teams pitted against each other. And you’ll be at the centre of the action right till the nail-biting finish of this never-before seen concept. CONTEGO Trail Day Promo This isn’t your usual run vs. ride duel. No, we’re making both teams run and ride head-to-head for 6-laps. It starts off with two laps (+-5km) of trail running followed immediately by a transition to a four-lap (+- 10km) MTB leg in an exciting duel over 60min. Our trail runners don’t ride and our mountain bikers don’t run so you’re assured of all the ingredients of a battle not to be missed. See you on Saturday!
