    Hi there anyone imported a full bicycle recently? Would like to know import duties VAT etc. Who does full bicycle courier? Info would really be appreciated.

    Hi, I'm South African, my girlfriend Australian, living in Bali, Indonesia. We recently purchased a couple of locally-made MTBs. The brand is Polygon. They're surprisingly decent bikes. We're coming back to Cape Town soon for 3 months and, ideally, would like to bring the bikes with us on the plane to use while we're there. Can anyone enlighten me as to what, if any, duty/vat implications there are for doing this? The alternative is to buy while we are there but we would much prefer to bring our own bikes, Thanks Nick

    I bought a used bike in a private sale in Germany - Will be bringing it back as checked luggage on my next trip over there. What can i expect from customs at ORT Do i declare it ? Would there be taxes and duties ? I could just say its my bike i'm bringing back from Germany, I go there 5 times a year and used it to commute ! Anybody have any experience in doing this - would like to hear your comments

    Hi guys I'm selling my Yeti frame on the Hub and have a very interested buyer from Switzerland. I'd like some advice on shipping, how to do the payment etc and more or less how much it could cost. Has anyone done something similar before? Are there any customs clearance fees or something payable by me? Shipping would happen via slowmail. Any input or advice will be appreciated, the guy really seems keen on the frame and he seems legit. Thanks
