  1. Hi Guys, I need help and want to verify if I will be too big for the bike I am wanting to buy. I am 1.795m in length. I used to have a Giant Trance 2 size large 27.5" and I enjoyed that bike. I like enduro-type riding and want to get back into the game. I currently have a Yeti 575 2007 model hanging in my garage, which I don't ride because it feels too small for me; it might just be the geometry of the Yeti that's not working for me. The Giant Reign is also 27.5" but I don’t have the year model yet, though I was told it's about 3 years old, maybe older. I love the bike but am worried it might not feel comfortable when going downhill, like the Yeti. Please, any help or experience would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
  2. Hi hubbers, I am starting this out of desperation. I am urgently trying to buy a used Swift Ultravox frame, but am unable to test the bike or get myself to Swift in CT. I am a 191cm tall guy, and the frame is a size L. Of course this is not a definite scientific way to estimate a frame size, but it is just that, an estimate. Does anyone here ride an Ultravox and am the same height as me? What size do you run? Thanks all!
  3. I've always been a mountain biker, and that is easy as bikes are sized like underpants in S, M, L etc. But after hurting like a little bitch on the Argus this year I am going to buy a secondhand road bike for next year and also do some milage over the festive season. BUT I have no idea what sizing I need, it's all in cm and whilst I am sure I can drop the seat or raise it etc, I'd prefer to get as close to possible to the "right" size. I am 1,92m tall and from the floor to my crotch is 900mm. I prefer not being stretched out too much, (doubt will really use the drop bar part except in crazy descents. Any advice is appreciated.
  4. I am looking at ordering a new bike and need some guidance on sizing please. Canyon.com has an online sizing tool which I used. I did the measurements and at first the system informed me that I required a size 53 frame. I was very surprised, as I thought I would be the same size as my current bike which is a Medium. I then measured again and found some minor differences in inseam and torso and this time I was a 56 cm-medium. Now I am not sure? My current bike is a 54cm Cannondale CAAD 9 which is the correct size. for what its worth, here is my measurments: Height 177 Inseam 83 Torso 66 Shoulder 46 Arm 62 I have compared the geometries of the two bikes and would like your opinion. The figures at the bottom is what I was given when my bike fit was done.
