  1. So, there was a newsletter sent out this week by tygerberg mtb club which i happened to read…. i quote: Lastly trail wise, we have spent a large amount of time the past few weeks on fixing the trashed corners of the Hoogies Hammer and Bloemendal Flow Trail. We all know as to why these corners get trached..... yip..... those cutty, flicky, braaping specialists who take great pleasure in plying their godforsaken trade whilst going through those corners..... It drives me and my trail crew insane, as its US that has to go back time after time after time to fix their mess. Why cant they just ride a corner the way it is supposed to be ridden? It is seriously irritating and should you, as a member encounter any twit cuttying those corners, you have my full permission to deliver them a moerse PK. Nuff said! As a member, this is a totally unacceptable line of communication. No wonder people call them the tygerberg mountain bike Cult. I get their gripes, but there is a way to say things and not. I emailed them back with these exact critiques. This is not 1985, they are service providers regardless of the fact what either beginners or not so beginners do on the trails…they pay to use them. @tygerbergmtb is a service a provider and everyone paying to use the trails are its clients. Absolutely no professional environment would tolerate this kind of talk towards their clients or staff for that matter. Imagine telling an administrator or anyone really you want to ‘PK’ so and so because they made your life a bit less easy. No joy. Imo it shows how removed from reality they are. This is unacceptable. members should not condone this kind of passive aggressive BS towards anyone. I have asked for a public apology. I encourage you to do the same. info@tygerbergmtb.co.za
