It will become admin intesive with all the request you would have to approve.A fan page anyone can "like" without you giving them permission.You can also send direct mail messages to all your fans in one go. You cant do that in your normal facebook page. Scroll to the bottom of any facebook page, look for "create page" and do that now before you have to many members.
