Anyone know of any MTB trails in Glenwood (Durban)

Hey Guys,

 

I love riding on-road about as much as I love watching Isidingo, so I've been trying to find decent some off-road trails in my area to train on during the week. So far I've found:

a) A 2km loop around Pigeon Valley Park.

B) A couple of smaller loops in the nature reserve behind the cricket fields at the varsity (think it was bout 1.5km's in total).

 

Anyone know of any other trails in the greater Glenwood / Berea / Musgrave area?

i used to live right next door tot he nsa gallery, i used to love riding through durban on a saturday morning, head to the beach for breakfast then backout to glenwood. but honestly cannot think of any trails down there. another enjoyable ride was to essenwood park then on to florida and back again. at least you got a hill up can climb there for hill training, used to ride up clark road to the top, murdered the legs lol

Ja - that's the one saving grace about the roads in the area. There are some monstrous climbs Did you ever try get all the way to the top of McDonald? That last section is crazy!

I remember hearing a rumour a while back about a possible trail that was being built in the nature reserve by Kensington Heights (between Morningside and Springfield) but that's all it remained... a rumour
