Tmobiles scam

Anyone get a SMS from Tmobiles “inspirational quotes” for R5? I did a search and this is a scam. My service provider referred me to Tmobiles directly, surprise I have difficulty contacting them.

 

Anyone have any advice/ experience with this problem

@Kaka I work for a WASP and TMobile have a lot of complaints against them on other forums. It appears that they are doing random billing.

 

First thing is to reply to that message with the keyword "STOP" - don't be funny by adding in other text else the system might disgard the request.

 

Then go over to www.waspa.org.za and report the incident. It can take weeks to get some feedback but out of principle you need to do. The more complaints, the higher the fine from WASPA and the quicker these guys stop their nonsense.

it says in the sms that i can sms the STOP, but it seems that message is from

MTN to stop the notification. I phoned and they promised to stop the service.

i will go to the WASPA site as well
