you get a SID team, SID world cup and a SID world cup XX, the XX means the fork has the hydraulic ('xloc') remote lock out.... The world cup versions have a carbon crown steerer....

Thanx for this topic HAWK...I wanted to kno these things a LOOOOOONGGG time ago!

So Reba seams to be the best bang for your buck!

 

I actually prefer the harder suspension, as it gives me more control when I hit the big bumps, or do hard breaking.

 

What do you guys think about the Manitou R7?

...and I mean BIG bumbs! Where soft suspension would compress alot and almost sling you over the handlebars...

(just had to add that before someone tells me I am not making sense) :)

 

I feel the harder suspension shoots you out of these tricky situations, but it takes a while to get use to it. (personal preference I suppose)

It is still soft enough to eliminate the smaller bumps though.
